Whipping: A Stitch In Time Saves Line

The art of whipping the end of a line is as relevant today as in the 18^th century. With a few tools, some skills, and some time we can preserve and make more useful the ends of the lines on our vessels. Your halyards, sheets, and docklines will look good, too.

This is a hands-on class. Tools and techniques will be discussed, demonstrated, and practiced. While we will have line on which to practice, you are welcome to bring a line which you wish to whip.
