Avoiding a Hurricane Using Popular Apps

Coastal navigation and weather forecasting has been enhanced with free or inexpensive apps for phone, tablet, or computer.  What once required large expensive electronics is now available on your device in your pocket. We will look at how to use some of these applications for safely voyaging through the Bahamas, and avoiding Hurricane Nicole, as an example to apply anywhere, including specific limitations with and without some cellular service.
